Ross Brawn - Head of Brawn GP

Ross Brawn - Head of Brawn GPFormula One without Ross Brawn would be impossible since the late 1970's. His role started in Formula One when the newly formed Williams team hired him in 1978 as a mechanic. From there he progressed through teams such as the Arrows, Benetton, Ferrari and Honda, as everything from aerodynamicist to technical director and then finally Team Principal, and now becoming the founder of the newest hit team in Formula One, the Brawn GP racing team.

Ross Brawn - Head of Brawn GPWhen Michael Schumacher was just starting in his impressive Formula One career, Ross Brawn was the one there to help set him up to be the record breaking man we know today. Now he is doing exactly that with his own racing team, Brawn GP, and so far he is working his magic there as well, and with the results of the first two races of 2009, Brawn GP would be nothing without him!

After Michael Schumacher moved to the Ferrari F1 racing team, Ross Brawn was soon to follow, making sure that his apprentice followed in his winning ways. Ross Brawn's skills in what he did also helped the whole Ferrari team, and soon they were a team to be reckoned with.

He stayed with this same team until 2006, incidentally the same year that Schumacher decided to stop his racing career, as he wanted to spend some time with his family. Fortunately for Formula One fans, he couldn't stay away from the F1 scene, and returned just one year later to the Honda team, acting as their Team Principal, but unfortunately for him, as the ending of the 2008 season drew closer, Honda announced that they would not be racing in the 2009 season.
