Haiti Cholera Devastation Continues - Sarah Palin Concludes Haiti VisitFormer Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin, completed her recent two-day trip visiting cholera-affected Haiti, with her visit being part of a mission including Samaritan's Purse. After looking into the conditions of a cholera treatment center there, set up by Rev. Franklin Graham,, she expressed the conditions were "much harsher'' than she anticipated.

Palin told the media, she would urge fellow Americans to remember the miseries of the Haitians, still suffering from the devastating earthquake 11 months ago -- as well as the subsequent Cholera outbreak. The death toll has risen to 30,0000 due to earthquake and another 2,000 for cholera, with millions being affected. It would be relevant here to say that, United Nations rescuers, especially those from Nepal had reportedly been responsible to some extent for the horrific epidemic outbreak.

The relief and reconstruction had been nearly set aside after the recent Presidential election controversy from the November 28th primary voting. The recently vote has been seen by Haitian citizens and worldwide followers as a rigged election, and has further lead to the escalation of sporadic political clashes and numerous deaths.

Sarah Palin's trip sought to bring additional attention to the blight of the Haitian people and garner additional support of the Samaritan's Purse efforts to aid the ailing country.
